THE FAMILY
The Dätwyler family is closely associated with the history of winter sports.
Jean-Daniel, Olympic medallist in Grenoble 1968, and his brother, Michel, were known as ‘the Dätwyler brothers’ on the Skiing World Cup circuit. Over the years they have transformed and expanded a small souvenir shop bought by their late father in 1964 into a 550 m2 state of the art sports shop. The latest renovation took place in 2007.
As of December 2009, a second shop was opened at the base of the Roc D'Orsay telecabine.
Céline, a double Junior World Champion in downhill skiing and now a renowned ski-instructor, Mary-Claude, Christel and Guy are seconded by a dynamic and experienced team of 10 people dedicated to helping you in the shop. |
